Rule 10
Work, Duties and Rights of the Minimum Wage Determination Committee
: In addition to the work, duties and rights mentioned in Section 21 Subsection (3) of the Act, the other work, duties and rights of the Minimum Wage Determination Committee shall be as follows:
(a) To make recommendations to the Government of Nepal regarding determining the minimum wages of workers or employees (B) To study and review the status of prevailing market prices and make recommendations in accordance with Clause (A) in view of the current economic, monetary and social environment of the country and the potential of tea plantations.
(c) Taking the opinion of relevant experts in making recommendations to the Government of Nepal regarding the determination of minimum wages, annual growth rates of wages, dearness allowances or other facilities for workers or employees.
